(All Léger! With Niki de Saint Phalle, Yves Klein, Martial Raysse, Keith Haring…) A partnership between two major collections from the Côte d’Azur brings together works by Fernand Léger and leading figures of Nouveau Réalisme, such as Niki de Saint Phalle, Arman, Yves Klein, Raymond Hains, Martial Raysse, and César. The exhibition also highlights the connections between the European and American art scenes, featuring artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Keith Haring.
With around one hundred works on display, the exhibition explores themes such as the transformation of everyday objects, representations of the body and leisure, and the role of art in public space. The artists challenge the boundaries between art and daily life, turning ordinary elements into poetic creations.
