Vertigo

“Vertigo,” from the Latin vertere—to turn or transform—refers here to the blurred perception of a visual field in motion, whether found in nature or within a painting. Inspired by the sensations and experiences of Porquerolles, the exhibition explores the connections between natural phenomena and abstraction since the 1950s. Through immersive works, plays of light, vibrant colors, and optical effects, it invites visitors into a dizzying sensory experience, featuring artists such as Yves Klein, James Turrell, Jesús Rafael Soto, Francisco Sobrino, and Hans Hartung.
