Painted and knotted canvas on a wooden base
Details of Hans Hartung's works
Between material and gesture, between texture and surface, these artists challenge the conventions of painting, exploring new territories through raw materials such as walnut stain, steel, and Cellotex… and radical techniques such as scraping, perforating, and knotting…
In the same spirit, a section of the booth will be dedicated to Hans Hartung’s works on canvas, shedding light on the artists capabilities of reinvention at the turn of each decade.
